The project explored program as a source of architectural thinking and imagining, by which helped explore the specific relationships that only exist in architecture.

The process emphasized on physical models as an important means of gaining insight about how we can imagine architecture being lived in and with. To start with, a screen made out of only canvas with variant transparency helped study materials. During this process, I focused on the vulnerability of connections between each elements.

After that, primitive drawings and models are used to study the relationships between the two programs, wallclimbing gymnasium and black box theater. In this process, I explored how architecture elements would perform under tension through studying the vulnerablity of connection. It helped with understanding tension both programmatically and spatially, and most important, tectonically. This project is talking about how programmatic spaces evolve and interact layers after layers, as well as how constructive elements gentlely hold together.
